Aberlady Conservation and History Society (ACHS) and AOC Archaeology group are excited to announce the dates for the upcoming Aberlady Excavation at Glebe Field:
23rd April – 8th May
We are looking for volunteers to assist us in the excavations and are offering fantastic practical training in archaeological methods and techniques. The best thing is that you need no prior archaeological experience- we have a great team of archaeologists on hand to help you through the process. These excavations are free to participate in, and are open to all but you must book with the team to secure a place. Click HERE to secure your place via our Doodle poll- simply choose which days you would like to attend.
These are the areas you will have the opportunity to learn more about, and gain practical experience in:

Due to the provision of this training, it is would be beneficial to be available for at least five days of the excavation- however, please get in touch with the dates you would like to attend as we would love to see as many volunteers as we can manage on site!
